Dang Birthday...

My birthday celebrations have gotten in the way of my blogging challenge. Last night we went to eat at the Salt Lick with my parents and I completely forgot to blog Day 4 of my challenge, therefore today I am doing both day 4 and 5.

Speaking of parents, that's what Day 4 is about and I'm gonna mix day 5 right in with it which is siblings. My mom and dad have been married for 26 years. They both had kids from previous marriages when they got married and my dad was finished having kids because he already had 4, but my mom only had 1 and still yearned for another. She figured she would just have to live without another one. Then low and behold, while taking birth control, my mom winds up preggo with yours truly. Lucky for me she was a fertile Myrtle. ;) So I came along and joined the family. Here is who else is in the family...my dad's 4 kids are Jennifer, George Jr., Kristi, and Marci. My mom had one other daughter whose name is Nicole. Now several of my siblings lived in Ohio while I was growing up so I never really felt close or connected to them. So when I think in my head of my siblings, I think of the two who I have actually lived with and are close to emotionallly. That would be my sister Nicole who now lives in New York and my brother who lives in Elgin, Tx with his family. Now I'm not really close to my siblings in age, the closest sibling is 7 years older than me while the oldest is at least 20 years older. I know that's a big difference, but that's how it turned out. Alright well I think I'm done for today because I'm getting ready to go out and have sushi for my b-day!
