A Shout to the Girls

As you can see I have updated my blog. While doing so I have downloaded all colored wedding photos onto my computer, therefore I am going to post about something that allows me to post some of those pictures. I have chosen to talk about some special girls in my life...who happened to be in my wedding.

First up, my longest friend Megan. We have been friends since we were babies and were roommates one year in college. She was my maid of honor in Joel and I's wedding. She is a very loyal friend and she can always put a smile on my face. Although we live in different cities, as soon as we get together, it feels as though no time has past. I love reminiscing about the past and get excited about the future. I could not ask for a better friend.

Up next is my sister Nicole. She is not my only sister but she is definitely my closest one. We have seperate dads my I completely feel like she is my whole sister rather than half. When we were younger we didn't get along very well. She was mean and I was a brat, but since we have gotten older we have gotten closer even though we have been seperated by distance. I love her with all my heart and I wish she lived closer so I could see her whenever!!

Meagan....what a great blessing she has been in my life. We met at church and immediately hit it off! We bonded really quickly and soon realized we had a lot in common. She is one of the easiest people to talk to, you never have to worry about a dull moment when around her. She has a positive attitude and one of the hardest workers out there. I'm honored to have her as a friend.

Up next is Whitney...who is probably happy to be in front of the camera rather than behind it. She has been going to school for photography and she is the best I know. I have been really slacking in my picture taking the last year or so because I know she will be there and will produce much better pics than me. :) Whitney has been my friend since I was 3. We've been going to the same church since then and our friendship has continued to grow through the years. She is a very loyal friend and one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Leah has also been my friend since we were 3. We have grown up at Bannockburn Baptist Church. Leah is one of the smartest people I know. She went to school for nursing but sh knows so much more than just medical stuff, she knows so much about the Bible and life in general. If you need a friend to tell you the truth without any fluff, Leah is the girl to go to. She is also very loyal and always there when you need her. What a great friend!!

Finally, my niece, Madison. She is such a sweetheart. Next year she will be starting high school and I am so excited for her. When she was younger she used to be kind of bratty but she has definitely matured over the years and is a pleasure to be around. As you can tell she is gorgeous!! She has struggled with eyesight since she was younger...she is considedred legally blind but she doesn't let that stop her. She is so determined to not let it stop her that she has started playing golf and she is REALLY good at it. I hope she keeps it up!!

Well those are some of the important girls in my life. I love you all and I hope we stay friends forever.
