OK this is my second attempt at this blog. Meagan has officially summoned me to complete the Honest Scrap List which is where you tell 10 things that most people do not know about you. Here goes...
1. My middle name was supposed to be Elydria. My dad thought my grandma's first/middle name (i can't remember which one) was Elizabeth so my parents named me Danielle Elizabeth Breehl. It turns out my grandma's first/middle name is Elydria so that should have been my middle name. Don't think I don't know my own grandma's name because I can't remember whether it was hjer first or middle name because she goes by a nickname...Betty. Betty is usually a nickname for Elizabeth so that may be why my dad thought her name was Elizabeth. But this just shows how much men pay attention to details. haha
2.My first kiss was in kindergarden to a boy who lived across the street named Adam. We went into his garage in front of his parents car, pecked and then walked back into his house like nothing had happened. I actually had a crush on this guy from that time until about 6th grade.
3. I used to sleep on the floor in my parents room until I was about 12 years old. I know it sounds rediculous, but I hated being by myself especially at night. To this day i still hate being by myself, as many of you already know.
4. I've been an aunt since I was 2 months old. It's kinda funny because that means my sister was pregnant when my mom was, kinda like Father of the Bride 2. Today I am an aunt to 7 kids, 5 boys and 2 girls.
5. Sometimes I feel like I didn't push myself hard enough in college, like I should have picked a harder degree than teaching. I feel like I am not using all the brains God gave me, but then I remember that He has given me other talents that make me perfect for teaching.
6. When I was younger, I used to pee my pants almost every time I laughed. I actually had to go to the doctor for it and he taught me some exercises to strengthen my bladder. I know ya'll probably didn't want to know this one, but this is hard to think of things people don't know about me.
7. I was attacked by a tranvestite(spelling?) when I went to Amersterdam my freshman year of high school. If you want more information about this one, I will tell you but I don't feel like writing it all out.
8. I pretty much had a boyfriend throughout high school. If I broke up with one it was usually to go to a different guy. I know that isn't something to brag about, but I think it is ironic that as soon as I decided not to date anyone for awhile(since I had been in relationship after relationship) Joel shows up and now he's the guy I'm marrying.
9. I would love to learn how to ballroom dance. One day when Joel and I have some more money and some extra time we are going to take lessons. I love watching all the reality dancing shows on TV especially So You Think You Can Dance.
10. My favorite thing to do when I was younger was hate things that everyone else loved just to be different. For instance, I hated Tweetie because everyone loved him. Same with rollie pollies and the color pink. I have since gotten over that little stunt and have now just decided to like things for my own reasons rather than because it was the opposite of everyone else. Does that make sense??
Well this was much harder than I expected. I'm supposed to challenge someone else to do this, but Meagan already challenged the main people that I know who have blogs. Oh well...
