Kinder isn't 4th

Today I am subbing in a kinder class. This is my first time doing this and boy is it an experience. I know I have said in the past that I prefer the little ones but now that I am actual in the class, I think I like 4th grade better. 4th graders can be quiet for longer than 30 seconds and they can read instructions on their own. Also, if I get quiet and give them a look they now I mean business.

These kids never stop moving and I can never stop them from talking long enough to give instructions. They are always hitting each other or yelling and I seem to have my back turned whenever it happens so I don't know who should get in trouble. Luckily, we are at computer time right now and things are very calm. It's amazing what technology will do to kids...it's like a whole different class.

Well I think I can let the good news out...I have got a long term sub job in the 4th grade at Buda Elem. I will be teaching until the end of the year...thank you Lord!! He is definetely providing for Joel and I. My first day is Feb 22 so please be praying that I am prepared and the class has an easy transition.

I guess I should tend to the kids now...see ya!!
